Old Town Kissimmee

Take your kids (of all ages) to Kissimmee Old town on a Saturday night - you will not regret it. You can park for free and watch a fantastic old car show.  The cars park and then do a cruise by. If your kids prefer motor bikes then Thursday night is also fantastic with hundreds of customised bikes on show.  Its all free and great night out.

You can wander up and down the restored main street here looking at all sorts of interesting shops, stop off for a drink or get a meal in one of the fantastic restaurants. There is live music and a generally great buzz to the place.

We usually go for something to eat and then have a wander around the shops looking at the bikes or cars. There is a fun fair for the kids and our entire family has been through the Instant Ancestors photograph process as Cowboys and Cowgirls!

There are two sets of rides actually in Old Town, one near the end you come in with Go Karts, Laser Tag, a Sling Shot and other big rides and then there is a more kiddie friendly set of rides at the other end of the street.  Something for everybody

Old Town is just around the corner from the villa and you cannot miss it (its the place with the loonies being dropped from the very high structure!) Old Town is just in behind the first row of buildings on 192 and is a single street with lots of nice shops and bars.  Their web site is at http://www.old-town.com/

Fun Spot USA

Recently, they have opened a Fun Spot next to Old town as well which makes this an even better evening out. This is called Fun Spot USA and we had a fantastic time here.  They don't have an arcade (yet) but they have some great Go Kart tracks, the Sky Coaster ride and virtual a drag car simulator racing.  We loved it!  I have borrowed this photograph from their web site http://www.fun-spotusa.com/ but highly recommend you try this place out one evening.

The best thing is that it is only about 10 minutes from the villa.

Here are the boys trying out the racing at Fun Spot USA.  The first track is harder than it looks because they slick up the track to make it slidey
